Shipping Policy

Shipping rates are listed in US dollars. House of A La Mode is located in the state of Oregon which has no sales tax.

US Orders:
All packages are shipped via USPS with the choice of First Class Mail (limited to weights under 16 oz) and Priority Mail (any weight) in biodegradable or recycled material mailers and boxes. Real shipping rates as determined by USPS are calculated at checkout. You will receive a tracking number once your order is complete and ready to go!

International Orders:
All packages are shipped via USPS with the choice of International First Class Mail and International Priority Mail in biodegradable or recycled material mailers and boxes. Real shipping rates as determined by USPS are calculated at checkout. We are required by law to state the actual contents and costs on customs forms with any additional customs fees that may accrue being the responsibility of the purchaser. You will receive a tracking number once your order is complete and ready to go. Unfortunately it is not always easy to track parcels after they leave the United States.

Please follow your package's progress through USPS and contact them directly if any issues arise. Once packages are accepted by the USPS, House of A La Mode can not and does not assume any responsibility for lost, misplaced, or damaged items. We can not replace or issue a refund for any package that has been confirmed as delivered.

All orders are shipped to the address that is provided at checkout. If you wish to have your order sent to a different location, please let us know at the time of purchase or as soon as possible.

Delivery Time Estimates
Your order will ship within 1-4 business days. If you place an order on a Friday, Monday would be considered the first business day.

Curbside Pick-Up
If you are local or in the area, we can now offer curbside pick-up at no cost. Simply choose that method at checkout and we will follow up via email with more details when your order is ready.

Returns Policy

We strive for 100% customer satisfaction. If you are unhappy with your purchase, yarn in its original (unwound) condition and packaging with no exposure to the elements, animals, smoke, or strong fragrances is eligible to be returned/exchanged.

Online Orders
Please notify us with details within 7 days of delivery date and before sending it back. Purchaser is responsible for return costs. Store credit (minus original shipping) will be issued upon safe arrival. Exchanging for a different product is always welcome.

In-Store
Products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase for store credit.

Kits, bundles, discounted yarn, and needles are final sales and not eligible to be returned or exchanged.
